Remember:
The choice of a wheeled mobility supplier is yours. So be certain to get the information you need to make the right decision.

Once you have received your equipment, National Seating & Mobility will work with you to help keep it properly maintained. Because of varying insurance laws, quite often you cannot receive payment for preventive maintenance provided by repair facilities. So, proper routine maintenance is very important for the life of your chair.

Warranty And Repair. The manufacturer of your equipment will provide you with the warranty. However, if you experience any problems with your chair that are covered by your warranty, NSM will work with the manufacturer to help correct them.

NSM must charge for service calls to your home in addition to parts & labor. However, if you bring your chair into your local NSM office, you will only be charged for the parts and labor necessary to complete the repair. Please make an appointment to bring your chair in, so we will be sure and have someone there to make the repair.

If we are to bill your funding source for repairs, it’s possible we may have to have prior authorization from them before we can do the work. It may be necessary for us to ask you to contact them to request they approve the authorization as quickly as possible.

And while we will do everything we possibly can to take care of you and your equipment, we must also reserve the right not to repair any equipment that we did not provide.

Simple steps to keep your equipment in top shape:

• Check the brakes daily on a level surface
