NATIONAL SEATING & MOBILITY EXPANDS PRESENCE IN PACIFIC NORTHWEST THROUGH ACQUISITION

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 11, 2020) —National Seating & Mobility (NSM), the leading provider of complex rehabilitation technology (CRT), mobility and accessibility solutions in North America, is further expanding the company’s presence in the Pacific Northwest with the acquisition of AARO Medical Supplies, headquartered in Aberdeen, Washington. The acquisition also includes a satellite location in the metro Seattle area.

AARO Medical Supplies was owned and operated by Bruce Thompson, whose parents, Jerry and Mary Lou Thompson, founded the company in 1972. He will transition to the NSM team to serve as branch manager for the Aberdeen location. Two assistive technology professionals (ATPs) and a rehab technology supplier (RTS) will also join NSM post-acquisition.
