NATIONAL SEATING & MOBILITY LAUNCHES MOMENTUM ACADEMY TO EDUCATE CLINICAL PARTNERS AND EMPOWER WORLD-CLASS MOBILITY CARE
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 27, 2022) — National Seating & Mobility (NSM), North America’s largest provider of comprehensive mobility solutions, has launched NSM Momentum Academy, a series of events designed to educate clinical partners, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers about best practices in mobility solutions and complex rehab technology (CRT).
“At NSM, our goal is to ensure that more people have access to the most advanced mobility and accessibility solutions available,” said Bill Mixon, NSM CEO. “Through NSM Momentum Academy, we look to strengthen relationships with our clinical partners to provide the mobility solutions our clients need for the best clinical outcomes.”
Throughout 2022, NSM will host seven Momentum Academy events. Detailing best practices in mobility solutions and CRT, the events will also provide access to continuing education (CE) credits, networking opportunities and a chance to explore the latest innovations in assistive technology at a supplier tradeshow featuring event gold sponsors including Invacare, Ki Mobility, Permobil, Quantum and Sunrise Medical and silver sponsors including Altimate Medical, Inspired by Drive, Merits, Rifton and SleepSafe Beds.
NSM Momentum Academy events will take place across the country. The inaugural event was held in Austin, Texas on April 12-13. Other scheduled locations include:
• Portland, Oregon: Aug. 18
• Piscataway, New Jersey: Sept. 15
• Orlando, Florida: Sept. 23
• Chicago, Illinois: Oct. 6
• Oklahoma City, Oklahoma: Oct. 20
• Tulsa, Oklahoma: Oct. 21
