NATIONAL SEATING & MOBILITY TO HOST MOMENTUM ACADEMY EDUCATIONAL EVENTS IN OKLAHOMA
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 15, 2022) — National Seating & Mobility (NSM), North America’s largest provider of comprehensive mobility solutions, will host NSM Momentum Academy events on Oct. 20 and 21 in Oklahoma to educate clinical partners, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers on mobility solutions, industry best practices and the latest in assistive technology. An event will be held on Oct. 20 in Oklahoma City at the Church of Servant (14343 N MacArthur Blvd) and a second event will be held on Oct. 21 in Tulsa at the Tulsa Technology Client Service Center (3638 S Memorial Dr).
The NSM Momentum Academy events will consist of educational courses which cover a variety of topics including the impacts of wheelchair configuration, therapeutic interventions, seating and positioning and funding and documentation best practices. The courses will be presented by industry accredited clinical educators and leading manufacturers.
The events will also include an Assistive Technology Exhibit Hall that will showcase the latest developments in complex rehab technology. The tradeshows will feature event gold sponsors including Invacare, Ki Mobility, Permobil, Quantum and Sunrise Medical and silver sponsors including Altimate Medical, Inspired by Drive, Merits, Rifton and SleepSafe Beds.
